TOEIC Part5 8つのパターン
4 月 15th, 2008 | by boze |TOEIC の Part5 からはリーディングのテスト。出題は40問。文法力、読解力が求められる。英文の穴埋め問題。解答の選択肢は4つ。問題数と時間から考えると1問当たり 25秒～30秒で解答していかないといけない。
Part5 8つのパターン
1. 再帰代名詞の用法
再帰代名詞とは herself や himself のような代名詞のこと。主語と目的語が同じ人や物を指すときに、目的語を目的格の代名詞（her, him など）ではなく再帰代名詞（herself, himselfなど）で表す。
2. 不可算名詞
不可算名詞とは複数形にならない名詞のこと。不可算名詞は few, many ではなく little, much で修飾する。頻出の不可算名詞は以下のもの。
information, equipment, machinery, stuff, baggage, luggage, furniture, advice, mail, money, fruit, vocabulary, jewelry, hardware, software, traffic
3. a number of と the number of の違い
a number of の後は複数形、 the number of の後は単数形、複数形どちらも可能。主語が the number of ～のときは単数扱いになる。
4. than があれば、その前の形容詞・副詞は必ず比較級
than があれば、その前の形容詞・副詞は必ず比較級になる。
5. 比較級を強調する副詞
much, still, far, a lot, even が比較級を強調する副詞。 very , so では比較級を修飾できない。
6. one of the 最上級 + 複数名詞
of は「～のなかの」という意味になる。one of は「～のなかの１つ」という意味。one は two , three, several などにもなる。of の後ろは可算名詞の複数形になる。one of the ～が主語になる場合は単数なので、動詞は単数形。
7. 名詞を修飾する限定詞
one … the other…、特定の2つの対象を比較。
other の後は複数名詞、another の後ろは単数名詞。
each other は2つ以上のお互いに、one another は3つ以上のお互いに。
